LEED V4 Feasibility Study and Planning - Industrial Buildings

01/2015

Our team has completed a feasibility study on the new version of LEED, which will come into effect in June 2015. This study focused on industrial projects whose potential by level of certification was analysed from a technical and financial point of view.

LEED Building Design - The following deliverables were provided to the client:

  • Complete review of LEED v4 requirements
  • Cost certification scenarios and design, construction and operating choices
  • Estimated costs (fees + construction cost) for each scenario
  • Planning LEED work for next steps

This mandate has allowed the contractor to greatly reduce uncertainties about the potential for LEED v4 certification and associated costs. In addition, the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders have been clearly defined to ensure effective implementation of the certification process.
