Technical Studies

Multi-skilled technical support to optimize the environmental quality of your projects

The environmental quality of projects is impacted by many factors that need to be identified as soon as possible and controlled. Good knowledge of the implication of design choices in the environmental quality of buildings thus makes it possible to reduce the impact and optimize performance and comfort.

Synairgis will bring you all its expertise to:

  • Identify strategic choices in the design phase

  • Evaluate and quantify the environmental impact (comfort, health, performance and carbon footprint) of the solutions considered

  • Carry out comparative studies in order to make the right choices in full knowledge of the facts

  • Be proactive with project stakeholders

  • Promote a rational approach to the environmental quality of the project in order to mobilize energies and investments in the right positions

Because a building, to be efficient and comfortable both in winter and in summer, must meet multiple requirements that can sometimes be contradictory, we take advantage of our experience in the field, in order to find the right compromises and achieve an optimized project. For this, we support you on the following technical studies:

  • Dynamic thermal simulation: assessment of energy needs in hot, cold and artificial lighting, assessment of energy consumption by station and by energy, approach to winter thermal comfort (inertia, optimization of reduced spaces, etc.) and summer (observation of the evolution of temperatures, evaluation of the efficiency of passive cooling systems, optimization of solar protection, etc.)
  • Daylight factor (DF): calculation per room according to the associated requirement of the daylight factor in order to assess the contribution of natural light
  • Quantity of bio-based materials: calculation of the volume (m³) or the quantity (kg) of bio-based materials mobilized on the project in connection with the various design actors (technical studies office, economist, architect, etc.) and in correlation with the requirements programmatic and/or regulatory as well as proposals for improvement and optimization in the event of a deviation from the objective

Carbon impact: estimate of the equivalent quantity of CO2 linked to the project, by item, by lot and by phase (construction, operation and end of life) and proposals for improvement

Our strengths:

  • a thermal and energy specialist
  • extensive experience in technical studies in correlation with environmental certifications
  • a single software to carry out all the studies
