Project to preserve the old library and extend it by a total area of 4 600 m². Public library with shelving, collaborative open spaces, multimedia, study rooms, games rooms, outdoor terraces.
As part of the LEED enhanced commissioning, Synairgis acted as a commissioning agent. The project aims for LEED Gold certification.
Building Commissioning - Our mandate as building commissioning coordinator :
Develop and communicate the owner's requirements and objectives
Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with the owner's requirements
Assist the design team, contractor and maintenance staff to ensure that the building's expected performance is maintained for years to come Ensure communication and follow-up of commissioning requirements
Plan, coordinate and perform verifications, tests and performance checks during the construction site
Supervise the training of building maintenance staff
Document the commissioning of the building.
