New municipal services yard hosting an administrative area (offices, rooms), mechanical workshops and storage areas for vehicles and equipment.
As part of the enhanced LEED commissioning, Synairgis acted as a commissioning agent.
The project achieved LEED Canada Gold certification in September 2019.
Building commissioning - Our mandate as building commissioning coordinator:
- Develop and communicate the owner's requirements and objectives
- Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with the owner's requirements
- Assist the design team, contractor and maintenance staff to ensure that the building's expected performance is maintained for years to come Ensure communication and follow-up of commissioning requirements
- Plan, coordinate and perform verifications, tests and performance checks during the construction site
- Supervise the training of building maintenance staff
- Document the commissioning of the building
