Net Zero Assessment of the Pavillon d'Accueil du Parcours Gouin

06/2017

The Pavillon d'accueil du parcours Gouin in the Ahunstic-Cartierville borough is the first net-zero building in the City of Montreal.

In operation since June 2017, this reception pavilion allows the promotion of an eco-responsible lifestyle and the values of sustainable development. With an area of 475 square metres on two floors, located on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies, the Pavillon incorporates a museum space that will be dedicated to environmental themes, a coffee area and a space for the rental of outdoor equipment.

Energy Efficiency - Our mandate for the city of Montreal has been to :

  • Realize a net zero energy balance of the building
  • Identify the nature of corrections needed to achieve and maintain expected performance
  • Plan the actions required to monitor future performance
